New Orleans is the home of the Hallowed Hall, set in
the mid 1930's. The notorious hall is nestled in the back streets of the
Old French Quarter. Several times a year the eccentric owner, Count
Francois D' Arcy, rents out the Hall, the former location of the Quadroon
Balls. This old and ancient hall is a tradition, with stories of liaisons
made during that time. It has been reported that music and laughter is
heard coming from the great ballroom, and shadows of dancers have shone
through ivory lace curtains, reflected from the flicker of long ago
candlelight. All of this is kept alive in a city whose history is steeped
in superstition, writings of vampires, witches, and reports of Voodoo
Queens. Tourists come from far and wide hoping for a glimpse of the
reported haunting. Chills run down their spines, and imaginations run
rampant just at the sight of the overgrown vines, and the cracked facade
of the hall.
Join your hostess, Maria Andrapolis, the grand Dame of Old New Orleans,
along with her guests at the glittering extravaganza of the year. Meet the
close knit trades people of the French Quarter, a varied cast of
characters, some friends, but it is hard to tell. Come to Hallowed Hall,
and live their experience.
